Enjoy generously large RV campsites in a beautiful natural setting

At Lassen RV Resort, we go out of our way to make sure you have a soothing and relaxing stay in the scenic Fall River Valley. Our 68-acre campground is located on a lightly oak forested bench above the valley, providing you with stunning vistas and views. Because we’re off the main highway, our Mt. Lassen area campground is a quiet place to camp — yet, with our easy access to Highway 299, we’re still close to nearby amenities and attractions.

From the moment we pulled up to the office to check in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. Very friendly. The RV... resort itself was very well maintained and very beautiful. We took advantage of the pool because it was very hot. We went to see Bernie McArthur Falls and Lassen Volcanic National Park, both of which were great. There is a lot of fun things to do in the area if you love the forest. We definitely plan to return to this RV resort.read more

This place is a gem! Great owners who really take pride in their park. The park is small in capacity, with only 34... sites, but large in land. It's spread out with a state park feel. Our site was longest we have ever stayed in, and as another reviewer pointed out was more like a long gravel drive vice your average RV site. The park has an abundance of trees, but they do not impede maneuvering to/from your site. The new owners have put a lot of effort into adding details to the park including sports equipment to borrow at the office, trails throughout the facility and even some surprise art on the trails. Verizon service is minimal, but camp wifi with paid and free options worked well for us. Night skies are amazing out here and the sunsets on the rainbow trail overlooking Mt Shasta are pretty great, too. Nice pool, volleyball court, tether ball, and horseshoe pits.Tips: Lassen Volcanic National Park’s north visitor’s center is about one hour fifteen minutes from the park. If you travel to the southern visitor’s center you’re looking at about a 2 hour round trip. Be sure to pack lunch, as there are minimal service along the route. Prior to entering the NP, visit Subway Cave in Lassen National Forest near Hat Creek. The 1/3 mile cave was formed by a lava tube. Bring a flashlight and a jacket.read more

It was our first time in this area. The campground has very nice and friendly owners and staff. The entire area is well... maintained. Our site was huge and the distance between other sites are very spacious. It is very quiet and relaxing. Bathrooms and showers are comfortable. There is a laundry mat, a pool, a tiny store and lots of trails around the campground.read more

This is one of the prettiest RV parks we’ve stayed in. Sites are spread out with lots of native trees and flowering... bushes. It was stunning. Very clean and well maintained. Over 60 acres to explore with trails. Ben, an owner, was very helpful. Close to lots of activities in the Lassen Valley. We wish we could of spent more time there.read more
